    Christopher is an experienced governance executive and advisor who has helped private and public companies strengthen their risk management, compliance and internal controls. He was the Group Head of Internal Audit of HKEX (that operates the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong) up to December 2020, and prior to that Chief Internal Auditor for one of the world's largest integrated resorts, Sands China Ltd. He was a Director of PwC's HK/China Risk Assurance practice and preceding that, had various responsibilities with PwC's Audit & Business Advisory practice where, aside from serving clients, he also held a number of internal operational roles managing a large number of teams.

    David Newton

    Partner at Trinity Bridge

    David came to Asia in 1991 with Reuters to be a catalyst for change in the finance function, leading financial systems projects in the region and later moving on to the regional management team of their Media division. Leaving Reuters in 2002, he has subsequently served as Asia Pacific CFO for the Financial Times, LexisNexis and Haymarket up to June 2020, also concurrently running business divisions and corporate strategy. David specializes in leading change in the finance function by re-designing processes and utilizing new technologies. He has also built a wide network of business partners in the region, which has facilitated the outsourcing of non-core business activities thereby making substantial reductions in enterprise costs and enabling cost-effective business development. He is a Mathematics graduate from Oxford University, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

    Michael Zimmel

    Founder of Volve

    Michael is an accomplished executive leader and Chartered Accountant. In his 20 years work history Michael advised on dozens of Corporate Finance transactions, worked as Financial Director and Group CFO for internationally operating companies in Europe and Asia. Most of his work centres on analysing and communicating how financial leadership principles can be applied to create value. He recently founded Volve as a commitment to help improve the work and value-add of finance departments. Michael is a great believer in developing people and teaches financial modelling and other corporate finance-related topics.

    Shin Yng Lee

    Shin is an experienced senior finance professional with an international exposure, having worked in various markets throughout Asia. In her career, she has led numerous Finance transformation projects which include ERP implementation, streamlining of finance processes to drive improved efficiency and costs’ optimization and setting up of shared service teams/COE teams. Shin was previously Asia Pacific CFO for Viacom and is currently the SVP Finance for AEG Asia. She is an Accountancy graduate from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and is a chartered accountant, Singapore. Shin is fluent in both English and Chinese.
